June
has finally arrived. This Friday June 6th the first grades will have
a "Friendship Camp". This is a time to celebrate all we have
learned, the new friends we have made, and all of the growth we have
made as first graders. The parent group has really been working hard
to plan activities that will be fun and exciting for us. This brings
to an end a very special year of school for us.
This summer it would be a great
idea to get involved in a summer reading program at a local
library . This is always a challenging and fun way to continue
practicing the reading skills that have been learned throughout the
school year.
Please practice math facts
through 12 a couple times a week throughout the summer. Using the
facts daily will help keep those skills sharp.
