Saint Patrick Catholic Church will offer a blessing to all liturgical ministers as they begin another term of service at the parish. The Liturgical Commissioning will be celebrated the weekend of October 15 – 16, 2016 at each Mass.
Ensuring Faith-Filled Liturgies
Our liturgies utilize the talents and gifts that God has given our Saint Patrick Catholuc Church community to the fullest extent. Whether participation is through “behind the scenes” preparation and planning or through a public role of service within the Mass, parishioner contributions help our liturgies to be truly faith-filled and life-giving celebrations. The following ministries are being commissioned and blessed:
- Altar Servers
- Arts and Environment
- Children’s Liturgy of the Word
- Choir, Cantors, Musicians
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at Mass
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Sick & Homebound
- Daily Mass Set-Up
- Altar Linens Laundering
- Greeters
- Lectors
- Ushers
- Liturgy Commission
Gratitude
We give great thanks to these ministries, to their leaders and their members for sharing their talents with the faith community at Saint Patrick Catholic Church along with 40 other ministries that are essential to parish life. May God continue to bless their good work in our community.
Share Your Talents
On the heels of Stewardship of Talent (Re)Commitment, we invite you to prayerfully listen to the wintess talk by our stewards Julia and Audrey Looper, then consider and (re)commit to a ministry you are called to serve, if you have not already done so. Ministry is an opportunity to fulfill your baptismal call of service to one another.
