The Safe Environment Office is simplifying the process of determining when an online refresher module is required and assigned.
The online refresher renewnal date will be tied to the most recent class date to increase the system’s accuracy. It will not be linked to the most recent background check, as it has been in the past.
This new coding went live on November 6, 2017. You will receive an email notification from the Virtus help desk when a refresher class is required.
After completing the initial training class, the online refresher module is required every 3 years to stay up to date and in compliance.
