The Senior Ministry collaborated with the Health Ministry to create a day-long adventure.
The Seniors on Adventure
More than a dozen seniors departed at 10 A.M. on June 14, 2016 from the Parish Center of Saint Patrick Catholic Church with minstry leader, Joan Doherty, Pastoral Assistant, Mary Randall and Father Jerry Graham, S.J. for a day long field trip to SeaFox Farms.
SeaFox Farms, on the Key Peninsula is the home of Health Ministry leader Garry FitzGerald and his wife Cathleen.
Walks in the Garden & Heart Healthy Eats
While at SeaFox Farms, Cathleen’s 88 year-old mother led the seniors on walks in the woods and around the ponds and gardens. Garry and his wife Cathleen prepared a heart-healthy salmon lunch for the group.
The weather was perfect for the outdoor adventure.
