Jessica S. is the first place winner at the Mighty River Classic Karate Tournament in Portland, Oregon. Jessica took first place in contemporary weapons (double nunchaku); second in traditional weapons (Okinawan nunchaku); second in sparring; and third in kata. She missed Grand Champion by one tenth of one point and can’t wait to try again next year!
Jessica is a parishioner at Saint Patrick Catholic Church and a student at Saint Patrick Catholic School. She is a young person who exemplifies the qualities of a steward of healthy living.
