Responding to the Call of Christ
Stewardship of Talent (Re)Commitment is a time when we as a parish faith community re-commit or step up with a show of initiative to respond to the call of Christ and help build the Church that Christ calls us to be.
We invite you to prayerfully consider how you will be more like Jesus and serve others, then join fellow parishioners and make a commitment to walk the mission of the church. Julia Looper, parishioner, catechist and Stewardship of Talent wintess speak will share how she has responded to the call of Christ.
Ministries Provide for a Vibrant Parish Life
Cara to Cara is sponsoring a Ministry Fair after all Masses the weekend of October 1 – 2, 2016. Ministry leaders will be on hand to share information and answer questions.
A wine and cheese social will follow immediately after Saturday night Vigil Mass on October 1. A scrumptious breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries will begin after the 8:30 A.M. and the 10:30 A.M. Masses on Sunday, October 2.
More than 50 ministries, active in parish and community life and are being offered for discernment. Which one are you called to serve?
How Will You Help Build The Church Christ Calls Us to Be?
You are invited to prayerfully consider how you answer Christ’s call to be a good Christian steward— sharing your talents within the parish community and throughout the world.
Stewardship Begins at an Early Age
The young people in the parish will complete their own Stewardship of Talent Card with the help of their parents. Lead by example— just as Jesus did! After prayerful discernment, complete your Stewardship of Talent Card and the help your child complete one— teaching them the convictions Christian stewardship from an early age, preparing them to serve the mission on the Church as they grow.
