Our son loves his school. It's is so nice to drop off and pick up and be greeted by name. You will love it here! From academics, faith, compassion, safety, and care if that's what you are looking for, this is the place.

Saint Patrick Catholic School is a remarkable place. I am struck by how many of those students I still keep in regular contact with. I have built lifelong friends in this community.

Emily Keller '84Teacher

We put two children through Saint Patrick Catholic School and we see the results every single day in their character, their dedication to their studies, and most importantly for us, in their faith lives.

Welcome back, Sra. Gasper! We loved her sweet message and the beautiful photo of her babies!

"Hola a todos,

I am back in the game. Thank you, ALL OF YOU, for your constant support during this journey of us becoming parents (Jared and I). We are truly grateful for everything you have done for us since little Annika and Jonas were born.

God has taught us that you definitely need a village to raise your kids. I recognize the extra work many of you put in to help me in so many different ways. It is my hope that God will allow me to do something for you all.

Salud - Cheers πŸ₯‚ to the beginning of a new semester."

Meet Leila Carlson, the mother of Sabrina in 6K and Coco, 3C. She is a school teacher, a Girl Scout troop leader, and a step aerobics teacher at the Center at Norpoint.

Did you know she climbed Mt. Fuji in 1999? What she loves most about Saint Patrick Catholic School is the wonderful staff. "I am grateful to have gotten to know many of them through my work with SPPA. During my term as president, my primary goal is to help build friendships among the families here. Our SPPA events are great for meeting new people and connecting with our school."

She encourages families to get involved in planning events and attend monthly meetingsβ€”it's a fantastic way to earn volunteer hours!

Hello Leila! 😊

Students spent the past few weeks learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man whose words of peace and love changed the world and whose love, courage, and dream for peace continue to inspire us to work to make our world a better place.

Preschoolers discussed their dreams and how β€œPeace begins with me.” What are ways that we can have a peaceful heart?

Here are some ways to inspire peace in children. Share yours in the comments.

πŸ•ŠοΈ Model empathy in all encounters.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Encourage open conversations about feelings and emotions.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Share stories and books about peace.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Invite your child to care for plants and nature.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Create a Quiet Time space in your home for reflection.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Go for walks in nature and discuss the world around you.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Teach your child deep breathing to stay connected to his/her body.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Create a Gratitude Jar, adding notes each day of things you’re thankful for.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Make cards for people in need of a ray of kindness.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Involve your child in service projects like food banks.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Use kind and powerful words in everyday interactions.
πŸ•ŠοΈ Explore and experience other cultures together.
