I am a mother of three, a proud graduate of K-12 Catholic school in the Archdiocese of Seattle, and the 4th grade teacher at Saint Patrick Catholic School.

President

Kasa Tupua Pierson

My family and I have been part of the Saint Pats school community for seven years, with my two children learning from a caring community of teachers, staff, and wonderful parents. The School Commission aligns with my nearly two decades of nonprofit leadership and public service experience particularly in board governance. I also bring over 15 years of coaching, leading teams, and enabling high-level decision making.

Vice President

Stu Morgan

Commissioner

Alyssa Dunivan

I am a mother of one amazing daughter. I attended Catholic school in high school, and parochial schools from 1st grade through college. I believe the Catholic education model provides students the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a unique way and am proud to not only send my daughter to Saint Pats and through the Catholic school system, but to provide support to the school through the school commission. I have 15 years of Human Resources experience, mostly for nonprofits. My contributions to the school commission include policy writing, recruiting, and people relations.

Commissioner

Brie Cooper

I am the parent of one St. Pats graduate, I also have a current second-grader, with another one joining the preschool program next year. I’m deeply committed to the opportunity for a Catholic education for all children. Witnessing the transformative impact it has on young lives, I felt called to deepen my service as a parent. My experience in nurturing client relationships while helping them realize their goals by being both focused and flexible aligns with the committee’s objectives.

Commissioner

Bill Malaier

I am a father of two and attended Catholic schools from 1st grade through undergrad. I have a meaningful understanding of the strengths of the Catholic education model, and I care deeply about providing the opportunity to attend a Catholic school not just to my own children but to others, regardless of ability to pay. I am a corporate bankruptcy and finance attorney and have been practicing in that field for 20 years. As such, my primary contribution to the commission is that of a parent with broad experience dealing with financial matters of every type, description, and complexity, as well as experience with board service (including executive roles) in the nonprofit space.
