As we enter the final week of Advent, our hearts are filled with joyful anticipation for the birth of our Savior. The season of waiting is almost complete, and now is the time to reflect on God’s great gift of love and prepare room in our hearts and homes for Christ.

This is a lovely story, with beautiful pictures, that follows the changing of the seasons, from fall to winter, through the eyes of a little girl. She has a platform up in a giant oak tree. She takes her binoculars, journal, and pencils to the platform in the tree, where she sits quietly and observes throughout the passing months.
