Our 3rd graders are getting hands-on with math using magnetic tiles! 📏
They're building different shapes while ensuring each one has the same number of square units, reinforcing their understanding of area in a fun and interactive way.
Over spring break, learners can keep practicing by using square objects around the house—like crackers, sticky notes, or LEGO bricks—to create different figures and explore area in a real-world way!

We had a germ-tastic time during a special visit from parent volunteer Mrs. Ignacio, a Nurse Practitioner! She came to teach preschoolers all about germs—those sneaky little things that can make us sick—and how to stop them in their tracks.
The kids were amazed as she sprayed their hands with pretend “germs,” and then they headed off to wash up. Afterward, we used a special light to see how well they did—germs hide in spots like under our nails and between our fingers.
We also learned that singing the “Happy Birthday” song while scrubbing helps us wash long enough to send those germs packing.
Thank you, Mrs. Ignacio, for turning hand-washing into a super cool science experiment! 🧼🦠💡. Handwashing is a fun skill that even the youngest learners can practice at home during spring break. ... See MoreSee Less

Staff from Saint Patrick Catholic School were honored to attend the Latino Summit: Unlock the Future – Embrace, Educate & Empower Latino Families in Catholic Schools, a two-day event focused on strengthening our mission, building community, and increasing outreach to Latino families hosted by Catholic Schools of Western Washington, Archdiocese of Seattle and the University of Notre Dame ACE - Alliance for Catholic Education School Advantage – Latino Enrollment Institute
The summit provided us with powerful tools and inspiration to better serve and engage Latino families—the fastest-growing segment of the U.S. Catholic Church and one that is still underrepresented in Catholic education.
We’re excited to bring this energy and knowledge back to our Shamrock community as we continue to welcome and walk alongside every family God sends us.
