Our baptism calls us to be missionary disciples. Archbishop Etienne eloquently affirmed this message in his recent Spirituality of Stewardship video:
“The starting point of stewardship is recognizing that everything we have, everything that we are, is by God’s initiative— God’s grace.”
Embracing stewardship allows us to experience profound joy in serving others that comes from developing, using, and sharing our gifts. Your pledge will enable us to continue the Church mission.
Financially, maintaining a parish is expensive. We work to be good stewards of our resources; costs keep increasing. Read the annual report and Fr. David Mulholland’s letter to learn more.
Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2025 is January 26 – February 1. The theme for National Catholic Schools Week 2025 is “Catholic Schools: United in Faith and Community.”
We observe the annual celebration week with Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members.
Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation.
Keep an eye out for our social media and website for the plan for the week.
Since 1892, Saint Patrick Catholic Church & School in Tacoma, Washington, nurtures the spiritual and educational needs of our parishioners, school parents, teachers, staff, and students.
